Business Retention and Expansion Certifications (BRE, BREP)
BRE certification is obtained through the successful completion of the BRE Fundamentals course. This certification is good for up to three years with continued membership and is available for recertification. The professional certification (BREP) is awarded to members completing education requirements, BRE program participation and organization participation. (more)

Certified Economic Developer (CEcD)
As a leading industry designation, the CEcD program offers the opportunity to develop core competencies across a breadth of topics necessary to being a well-rounded and successful economic developer. (more)

Economic Development Finance Progression (EDFP)
Participants in the EDFP Certification Program receive a foundation to work with a broad range of community development players. The program includes training in business credit and real estate finance analysis techniques, loan packaging procedures, negotiating and problem solving skills and deal structuring techniques. Professional Community and Economic Developer Certification (PCED)
Designated by the Community Development Council, this certification is available to professional community developers who collaborate with community leaders to shape and guide the development and economic prosperity of their community using local and external resources. (more)
